We had a fantastic time, the Rusack hotel and staff were wonderful as was the local team organising the golf transfers. We really enjoyed using the driving range facilities at the St Andrews academy before each round as well as having lunch in the Tom Morris restaurant located in the St Andrews clubhouse.
The highlight for us was playing the old course especially standing on the first tee in St Andrews, a magical moment for all golfers ! We also enjoyed the 17th and 18th signature holes and getting photo’s taken on the old Swilcan bridge which we subsequently received on a lovely photobook when we got home.
We are very fortunate that our club Athenry GC supports this great charity event which gave us the opportunity to participate in this unforgettable golfing experience. I hope more clubs will start supporting this tournament which in turn will provide much needed funds for the key services that you provide at NCBI.
